Change of CTC Cornwall Policy on Emergency Contact Info

With this year’s GDPR regulations indicating that Cycling UK should no longer collect and hold our emergency contact details while out on a ride,  CTC Cornwall is introducing a new policy for club rides.  This will be for Ride Leaders to ask all ride members to carry their Emergency Contact details with them for the duration of the ride, so that, should there be an accident or injury, the ride leader can contact someone appropriate to let them know.  Ride Leaders will supply small cards for you to write the details on and then you just pop them in a pocket.  Hopefully this makes sense – any queries, do come back to us on info@ctccornwall.org.uk

CTC Cornwall AGM 2018 – Getting Geared Up for Winter Cycling

Our CTC AGM 2018  will take place at The Liskerett Centre, Varley Lane, PL14 4AP on Tuesday 23rd October at 7 pm.

This year we are in for a treat – as well as our formal business, our speaker will be Corinne Dennis of Corinne Dennis Cycle Wear who will make a presentation on how best to prepare for winter cycling.  There will be an opportunity too to view and purchase Corinne’s cycle clothing and accessories (image from Corrine Dennis Cycle Wear).

Formal business will cover proposals for 2019 club development, including the possible introduction of more family rides,  and an outline of our club support for Cornwall hosting a leg of the Tour of Britain in 2020.

Refreshments on arrival and we do hope you will be able to join us for a drink in the pub after.
